My Little Pony Equestria Girls Movie is a Hit with momstown Niagara!

One of our members was one of 40 lucky winners of tickets to the newest My Little Pony movie.  The thought of bringing toddlers to the movies is always dreadful, but this movie is so great it will hold the attention of our little ones!  Here's what our momstown mama thought about it:

Going to the movies with little ones can be unpredictable, and seem rather scary. Today was the first time my two year old has ever been to a theatre. We were one of the lucky momstown families selected to receive My Little Pony Equestria Girls tickets. For today, I was just hoping that my girls (Alyssa - 2 and Brianna - 4) might be able to sit still and remain quiet long enough to make it to the end of the movie. Armed with a very large bag of popcorn and giving a few reminders, it was a success! We made it through the entire movie.

 

Movie Synopsis:

When a crown is stolen from the Crystal Empire, Twilight Sparkle chases the thief into an alternate world where she transforms into a teenage girl. With help from new friends she meets in high school -- and who just so happen to remind her of Ponyville's Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy -- she embarks on a quest to recover the crown and change the destiny of these two parallel worlds.

 

Our Review:

This movie was great. The girls and I enjoyed it so much that we would definitely buy the dvd. My Little Pony Equestria Girls is full of colorful characters and funny jokes. The underlying message teaches the importance of friendship and team work.  The length of the show was 1 hour and 12 minutes, and was a great first time theatre experience for us! Thanks momstown & My Little Pony for the opportunity to see this movie! If your children like My Little Pony, please check your local theatre for show times.
