Our
momstown theme for the month of June is "shapes", so we went to Chapters to enjoy another great book provided by
Scholastic Canada, entitled Night Light by Nicholas Blechman. We found a lot of great shapes in this book as well as cars, trucks and anything that goes. This is a great book for pre-schoolers that also teaches counting and rhyming.
After we read the book we raffled it off to one of our lucky members and did a great train craft made out of many different shapes and colours. The kids were very eager to share their knowledge of shapes when asked if they knew which ones were which.
