The Letter J Presented By Post Alpha Bits

J stands for ..........................

Jump, Jam, Jaguar and Jack in the box!

Alphabet Play sponsored by Alpha Bits was held at the Book Outlet. Today we learned about the letter J and the sound that the letter J makes.

During our circle time, we read a story called 26 Pirates that was written by Dave Horowitz. It fit in perfectly with our Pirates and Princesses theme for this month.

We did our best to listen to the story, but our friends at the Book Outlet have a wonderful little train that circles through the children's book section. It was a lot of fun to watch.

To begin learning how to write an uppercase and lowercase j, we traced the letters with our fingers.

After our story, we made a letter "J" craft. Our uppercase "J" was a jelly fish, and our lowercase "j" was made into a jaguar.

Once our crafts were completed, we played an alphabet game that helps us recognize the letters of the alphabet. We had some fun with our wiggle words and had some tasty Alpha Bits Cereal to eat!
